Volksware Clothing Carpet

why this is neat:
(1) it is an example of creative reuse.
(2) each meter sold is marked and numbered, adding an element of specialness for the new owner.
(3) it's sentimental. (I am reminded of this assignment from Learning to Love You More, a project by Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher. People create associations with particular articles of clothing.)
(4) it changes the purpose of the clothing, while maintaining the clothing's form.
(5) it acts as a sort of preservation or documentation of people's consumption.
(6) the sentimental aspect coupled with the documentation demonstrates the emotional ties that people have with products.
(7) it's customizable.
(8) like the rest of the work done by Volksware, it prevents the waste of previously used products and materials by reconstructing them in a unique and interesting way.
(9) it would camouflage heaps of clothes on a messy floor.
(10) it's quirky and intriguing.
